What happened to my jaguar??

Found him sitting at the bottom of the tank today when I got home looks like he may have gotten stuck somewhere between some rocks, or he got beat up by my Midas. I've been keeping fish for over ten years, never seen a fish scratched and messed up like this. He is missing a lot of scales. I'm hoping he makes it, but it's not looking good.

my first guess would be room-mate issues, i.e., the Midas . . . is there a considerable size difference between the two?

either way, I recommend isolating the Jag . . . if the Midas is tearing him up, he needs to be isolated . . . and if he is sick, he needs to be QTd
