Just did a water change, and everybody is fine except him. Just noticed this when I was going to turn the lights off for the night. Could this have happened from a water change? Fish attack? Skin disease? Anybody recognize what this is?

Still no idea what could have caused it.Thanks. Nothing unusual other than that water change, but he could have been like that before I did it, not sure. I have been feeding them probably more than I should, that's about it. Nothing out of the ordinary and all the other fish are doing well in the tank.
Oh, man that sucks, sorry to see you lost him. I have been beating the streets trying to find some red severums that size. Looks like heater burns to me as well.
Heater is in the sump, not possible. It does look like some type of fungus now that people have mentioned it, as the skin looks almost like it's deteriorating. What could have caused that? How can I prevent it in the future? Why didn't I see it earlier? Might my other fish have it now?
I've seen it, it can kill a fish in a day, really nasty disease. Did he have ich before because it come s after the ich.
