So yesterday a friend of mine called me up and asked me to please come check on his Queen Angelfish, cause for the last couple days it had been laying on its side and breathing with difficulty. I went over and checked the water parameters, everything was perfect, except specific gravity which was at 1.030 aprox. It's a fish only tank and the flame angel, regal tang, sailfin tang and emperor angel looked all fine, although i did notice the emperor angel looked quite thin and the gill area wasn't quite normal. Well the issue here is that the Queen Angel looked pretty hard to save, so I tried taking it over to my place where I have a quarantine tank and started to slowly drip acclimate the fish, but after about 20 minutes it died. I then decided to have a look around to see if the problem was inside it and when checking out its gills, I found this nasty growth on them, which I believe is some kind of infection.
What do you guys think???
