My Oscar tank / community tank I raised the temp. to encourage the Oscar's to pair off.
It was working fine, Up until today. My 2 large albino long fins in one corner, And my longfin tiger,
With my 8" lemon in the other corner. Then I come home today to see this. My 8" male Dempsey,
Has paired off with a much smaller 4 1/2 - 5" female. And laid eggs in the rocks at the back of the tank.

I'm sorry about the fuzzy picture, But I'm running a med airstone under a large water jet. And it's really
shooting the O2 to the tank.;)

I suggest moving the Oscars out of that tank, someone is going to get hurt.

Never underestimate a male dempsey on guard duty. Good luck.

You should seperate them soon, because one of those oscars are going to die. My male jack attempted to shred my big O, keep in mine that my jack is about 6 inches smaller  They also got some teeth

Just got home, And I believe there was a boundary agreement made today.
I believe my Oscars kicked the dempsey's butt today. He's missing a small piece of tail.:(
They all seem to have there own part of the tank. But they are still getting moved tomorrow:cool:

Yes it is a little cloudy, Tomorrow it gets it's weekly vac and water change.
I've been heavy feeding this last week, To help induce spawning.
I also have a 4" air stone feeding into a large(750GPH) water circulation and wave pump.
It clouds the water, But the Oscars love it.
