almost all fish love to chase laser pointers.
i never do to my own fish. however last year when there were parties at my apt my 3 tropheus would go crazy over the laser pointer that would for sure be brought out.

better than people dumping things in the aquarium atleast

Probably no worse than doing the same thing to a cat. Just make sure to not shine it in their eyes, not good for us, can't be good for them.

The fish will be fine, its just the same as chasing anything non laser related.

haha yeah my fish are scared but chase it at the same time lol my baby oscar hates it wants to bite it all the time lol but i have ojnly done it twice

I african cichlids go nuts trying to eat it. It might stress them out if your waving it all around the tank but if your slowly moving it and not getting it in their eyes they shouldn't be stressed.

i just picked up a green laser from the Shaq....when it's dark out it shines at least 1/4mi down my road onto the church wall across the street and you can see the beam the whole way down!!! they are nuts kinda spendy 50bucks....my dog doesn't pay any attention to it, cats go nuts.......hahaha dumb cats
