well i suggest u change the bulbs in ur light fixture or u will get a major algae problem without co2.

can u please elaborate on ur light?

watts?
Kelvin rating?
length?
make?

just make DIY co2 reactor out of coke bottle and an airstone to diffuse it. cost u nothing really.

as for hardy plants there's soo many to list, so i will just give u this link and u can discover which ones u like the best:

well the guy who custom build my tank said they're T5's and they're using reflectors or something ?

I have a filter where u can attach an air tube so that it blows out bubbles, instead of attaching the coke bottle to the airstone, can i just attack it to this instead?

oh and can i also ask, with the DIY co2 yeast reactor, how long do you think it'll last me ?

thanks alot Death Sting

most compact strip lights have '' reflectors ''.. lol... nothing special.. i need to know the wattage.. Kelvin rating would be nice to know as well but the wattage is whats really important.

i need to know more about this filter and pictures would help too. im not clear at all on the filter but i have heard of DIY diffusion via powerhead or power filter. u stick the air line into the intake and the impeller helps diffuse the co2 as it gets sucked into the filter.... this is not good for the filter though... easiest and cheapest DIY Co2 diffusion is done via airstone...

depends on how much yeast u use... more yeast = faster reaction and more co2 but less time of production. and vise versa. on average it lasts 1-2 weeks.. when the micro bubbles stop then there's no more co2 left in the reactor.

You can have a perfectly fine planted tank without CO2; don't worry about it to start, you can always add it later if you want.

anubias . . . very hardy, and come in a lot of varieties

I have had many planted tanks and never used CO2 . . . I don't knock it, but for me it's just one more thing to deal with, and I haven't seen the need (as long as you have the right plants and lighting)

you can also add laterite to your gravel . . . I've never done it with my planted tanks, they all use either Flourite or Eco-Complete, but it's certainly an option if you want to keep your existing gravel

For the men eye your light can be very strong, but it may give nothing to plants. There must be a sign on these T5s, at least how many Watts they're.
