in the past few months has truly brought a great deal of joy into my life.
Freshwater stingrays are fascinating creatures that demand a great deal of care and respect. I love mine with all of my heart and would not trade them for the world. I dedicate a great deal of time and effort to them.

I have a deep thirst for knowledge and whenever I learn something new, it only inspires more questions. Especially when it comes to rays.

I have encountered some wonderful people on this forum who inspire me everyday with their knowledge, expertise and innovative ideas that further help me understand these beautiful creatures and how to properly care for them. I want to send out a special thank you to all of you. David, Mike, Miles, Alberto, AQUAMAN!!!!, Nic, Jamie, Ash, Matt, Jerry and the countless others who have shared their experience with not just me, but all of us on this forum.

I may have said some dumb things on here that have agitated certain people and I want to apologize for that. Usually it comes from violating my rule (Thou shall not MFK while intoxicated lol) or not organizing my thoughts clearly enough for others to understand. It is no excuse and it won't be happening any longer :)

At the same time I do have a set of my own ideals when it comes to keeping rays that others may not agree with, yet I respect other's and only hope that they can do the same for me. I believe in these ideals full heartedly and am always open to suggestions.
My rays are happy and healthy :) I will do whatever it takes to keep them that way.

Ok ok ok, enough of my babble. On to the real reason I started this post.
I am moving this weekend and do you guys know what that means???

MY NEW POND WILL BE UP THIS WEEKEND!!!!!
I am beyond excited. My wonderful other half has done a wonderful job in designing it. I have been putting together a sump which will incorporate Aquaponics in the design as well as some serious biological filtration all in one. It also has a built-in nursery for pups when that magical day arrives! HOPEFULLY!!!!

I will be sure to post pictures of it's construction and transition of the rays from their currrent pond!

It is a monster and I barely dropped a cent on it!!!!

All the best everyone,

-Tom

Best part about ponds. Awsome size with a small price tag. I cant wait to see pics and im glad mfk has been a resourse for you. It is the best place for ray knowledge. NO bs like other sites.

ALRIGHT!!! HERE ARE SOME PICS!!!

Dimensions are 8'x4'x2' and that is just the surface area for the rays. The pond itself takes up a bit more space.

It is almost complete!
