I live on a cluster of manmade lakes when the town decided to dam up some natural creeks and bogs. This project began around 1910. I've live here for about 5 years now and just love how quite it is. Most the homes are old, mine is an old cabin from 1927. I live in northern NJ.
The community is 5 lakes and 1 hidden pond.
The pond is actually in the middle of the woods, and very deep oddly.
My lake is the 2nd deepest at around 12-15' in a few spots. The deepest lake runs about 18'. Many of the others are very shallows. They frequently get treated by the club house.
These are a few shots from this past season; my other PC has a few more I'll try to add tonight. I always catch and release. The Sunny was huge about 1.25 lbs and the yellow perch was also nice @ around 1.75. The bass ranged from 2-4lbs and the Black Crappy are about 1 lbs. I will try to keep this updated about 2 times a month. Once spring hits I try to fish about every day.
