Surely with all these new '3' bar Indos around it must be becomming hard to find proper Indo dats, i mean if they are being bred in pons what must be happing to the quality of the gene pool? Theres been a lot of I.D. threads made where the dat turns out to be a 3 bar indo, i mean what if in time Porper Indos become as hard to get as ture Widebars????? Just a though.

Brilliant! It could happen.

i stll see lots of what you would call normal indos about, i think you seem more pics of 3 bars as people pick up these due too looking more like ST.

I like the 4 bar varient more since it is a True indo rather than the 3 bar inbred freaks. I dont think that they would become rare since people breed them.

i hope that doesn't happen! fish hobby is to have fun not make fish go endager or exsited....lol

If in fact they become as rare as wide bar then my wide bars would probably be gold right now.

If they are breeding them, then availablity wont become a problem.

As far as the gene pool, usually pond bred fish become more hardy over time.

I also agree with Dixon, if they are breeding these guys, then obviously they are trying to make them look more like ST's so they can make more money. I still see many 4 bar'd Indo's available. I do not see any problem arising anytime soon.
