Looks like a massive nest of eggs in my opinion. Do you have a mating couple in your tank? Either that or aliens are growing inside your tank.

Some Columbian tetras. A pair of bronze cory's. One single cervicep. Use to have
two severums, not quite sure of the sex, but got rid of one a couple of weeks ago. Have a couple big snails as well.

yup snail eggs keep them moist also lower the water level just a litle bit
