This morning as I was leaving for work I noticed these tiny creatures crawling on the glass inside my 150g. I'm posting this here because I think they must have come from the plants I added to the tank this weekend. Sorry the pic is not too clear but it was the best shot I could get as they are pretty tiny. What the heck are they?

yeah that looks like them. anyone know the best way to get rid of them. the most drastic method i've seen is taking the whole tank down and scrubbing it or removing the fish and raising the temps high. is there something i can buy to kill them or a predator i can get to eat them?

what kind of fish do you have that eat them? i don't think any of the ones i have in my tank would bother with stuff that small. maybe i should get a snail or something.

The only way I have gotten rid of that problem in the past is total tank take down and scrub! And itstill didn't kill them all eventually I just shut that tank down for four months and when I finally got it back up and going I did very hot boiling water just to make sure. Oh by the way I didn't have any plants.

I had a bout recently and tried several things to get rid of them, the only thing that worked..... feeder guppies, cleaned them up in a few days and then disappeared themselves....

it really would suck if i had to take the tank completely down. i will try the feeder guppies idea. hopefully the wolves and polys let the guppies live long enough to eat the worms!
