i like to feed all types of foods what you think would be better for them raw shrimp or chopped up talipa . i think shrimp has higher protein than talipa or white fish

Talapia!!!! Also I like to feed fish organ meat and fish parts bone in. I feel this aides n growth!!!! I use salmon and chicken breast. My bichir love salmon!!! I buy it for myself and they get the skin and cuttings. I have also feed duck heart. But i go easy on tht one. Tht is a treat.
salmon sound good never tried that but i don't know my wife love it to but chicken breast isn't that going to be real messy . where woulkd i find duck heart or even beef heart i have look for beef heart befor for my discus but no luck where i live wich is weird cuz i live in the sticks and cows are every where lol
If you want beef heart most of the time your lfs or pet store will carry it already prepared in little cubes stored inside of their frozen pet food fridge. Or go to your local grocery market/butcher and you can request for some, they almost always carry them but with grocery bought beef heart your going to needa trim off the fat. Duck heart can be found usually at your local Asian grocery market.

I find mammal protein clouds the water very easily, so I just stick to fish, shrimp, and pellets.
