What is a cheap way to get moonlighting on a 125g?

Go to ur lfs, they have blue led moonlights for about 20$ or you can upgrade ur light fixture with Leds and they have moonlights built in. Also they have bubblers that light up as well

Might try some of the cheap leds they sell on amazon. I ordered a "grow" light for my low light orchids and ended up using it on my 4' 120g as a moon light. I wish it was all blue leds instead of the mix w/red, but they sold them all ways. I paid like $35 for a 14"x14" light.

I have used these and been very happy: http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/rigid-light-bars/lb4-x6-series-led-light-bar/138/

$2.95 each and a few dollars more for the wires and clips they sell. Have is shipped in the mail and shipping cost is low. The only thing that will get you is the transformer cost. I found one laying around from some other thing I was not using so it was a cheap DIY project. You probably want anywhere from 2-4 lights for the 125g depending on how bright you want it. Also if you search online many times you can also find coupon codes to save money.

Hope this helps.

Check my diy moonlight thread. I made mine for $20 and works amazing.

Quality product, descent price. Had one of their kits on my 125 and 56 column, spend the extra 5 or 6 bucks on the dimmer, it's nice to be able to adjust it.
