I am gonna be selling a 125 gallon tank. Just want to know what everyone thinks is a good price to ask. It is about 10 months old. Without overflows.

It is an AGA 125 with the cheapo AGA black pine stand.

Scratched, or in good condition? I would pay 350 in pristine order. I would be willing to clean it, but permanent damage I would pay less.

There aren't any scratches on it. There are some hard water deposits on the upper frame, I didn't clean those yet. I cleaned the glass and went over it pretty good to see if there were any blemishes.

When I put it on craigslist I want it to go quick.

i'd say about 300-499 dollars, around me about 450 is average

If you want it gone fast, I'd post for $200-250. You can post for higher, but it might take longer for you to get responses.

When I sell/buy used, I tend to use glasscages.com as a baseline.
For example; new 125 wide = $350 or new 125 tall = $295.

Even for those not in GC's truck delivery range, their prices tend to be relatively close to what I can get AGA pre-ordered from any LFS (that's an AGA distributor). So unless you have some non-standard (or high-demand) size, I would assume people can buy new relatively close to glasscages prices.

So then I adjust accordingly for whatever the used condition is and what I expect people to pay off retail. Personally I don't look at used items unless I'm saving 25% or more, just isn't worth it in my opinion. Spending an extra 25% for new silicone, clear glass, and warranty, is worth it to me.

i just bought a used drilled 125gallon tank with overflows and 55gallon sump wet/dry with two return pumps, very nice black wood stand and wood cannopy for $400.00
the tank was setup for saltwater so i had to clean EVERYTHING

brand new AGA retails with just stand $499.99 but if you want glass tops(no light) like $539.99 and if you want deluxe hood(not canopy) it will be around $699.99

Mine new, with tops and lights was just over 400. Stand incuded would have hit 550. Add canopy, add another 200 or so.
Non-drilled Perfecto, three years ago.

I'll list it with the stand. I also have two fluval 405s that need new hose ends and impeller covers. Should I get the fluval parts first then include them in the deal.

Would 400 for the two filters, tank, and stand be asking too much?
