Wolf and a few others recommend the Hydro IV sponge filter. I am wondering what extra equipment would be best for these filters. I know very little about sponge filters in general, so any additional advice would be appreciated as well. How do they work, and how often should I change them?
For your info, I have 110 gallon tank that will be overstocked and requires a great deal of oxygenation. I was planning on buying at least 2, but probably 4 of these filters and associated equipment, depending on costs and need. I understand one pump, with proper tubing, can supply multiple sponge filters.
