WHAT IS AN AFRICAN ALUMINIUM CATFISH?

Hi, does anyone know what an African aluminium catfish is? Any species names or any information on the fish? The only ones I can find any info on are south American, it is coming with a new tank I might be buying so I need to work out how to look after it, thought I'd ask the experts.

http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/genus.php?genus_id=153 - Aluminum aka big-eye African catfish is a common name for a genus. Click on the ones with most pictures (usually means they are the most common in the hobby) and read the care/datasheets.
