What is an automatic water changer/how does it work?

Please explain this to me. I'm interested in a 90 gallon system & I don't want to deal with water changes weekly. lol.

A water top up system. Uses a top up tank where u store water and a float switch u place in your sump. Once water level drops, the float switch is activated and run a pump to drive the water, from your top up tank to your main tank.

I think you are looking for sump tank / overflow system / canister system so that the water is always clean with less maintenance. Do a search in the web for all the above system and you will have some explaination or picture on it.
