what is an ich

White spots all over the fish body. When you have this problem use rock salt and raise temp.

looks like white sand all over them..like said raise the temp some salt and even get some ich meds...

it can cappen unexpected sometimes, but it mostly occurs when a new fish is introduced..this is why it's always good to qanrantine

IMO ich is the easiest to treat, add some salt and raise the temp to around 88-90, or use ich meds..

It can happen when fish are stressed. Usually happens when a new fish is introduced to a tank.

Temperature fluctuations can also bring it on.

plus when fish get ich, they usually have ich, not have an ich. the raised water temp increase the speed of parasites life cycle. so it has less time free floating in the water to find it's next host.
