What is coming out of my RD?

So i came home from work this afternoon to find something coming out of my red devil! I am not sure if its a parasite of some kind, he has been eating and acting 100% and showing no signs of concern at all except this stuff. The RD has been spending a lot of time with a green severum and are both pretty protective over their cave in the tank but as fair as i know these two cichlids cant breed i may be wrong though.

May be or may be not.
Female central american cichlids dont need a partner to spawn. They often spawn on there own.

The red devil is laying them onto a rock and the severum is going over them not sure what he is doing ?

I personally never heard of the 2 species spawning together.
