I know tank size, aeration and filtration can be a big part but...whats generally too many? I just love getting new and different fish but know that I must stop. I know i have a larger tank coming in the fall so I am trying to figure out how many fish I can "safely and uncruelly" keep in my 320g. Between now and the fall I know the fish i have may get quite larger so i have to consider as well. What do oy uguys think is too much with good filtration?

Thats a really hard question to answer
are we talking full grown fish, growing, or almost full grown
Also what kind of fish
Are you going to be moving whats in your 300?

Those fish at full grown would be too much lol

The fish in my 300 will be going into the 144X48X36 that will be built in the wall of my house i will be moving into shortly. Until then they will be growing in the 300. I dont want to get rid of anybody and there are still a couple fish i would love to get. Should I stop?

wow thats quite the diversity of fish in your 300g must look awesome as far as too much keep testing your paramiters and watch the overfeeding if you have good enough bio support anythings possible see a 7 foot sand tiger in a 5000g aprox at the lfs and hes seems fine now been thier for years

Do you guys think I could get awast witha few more?

If it was me i would move them to the big tank and call it quits. there are a lot of fish that get huge you have there:) I would love to see that when you get it up and running, Im sure it will be impressive.

What other fish did you have in mind

Have you seen my 265?

You can keep a lot of fih in a tank if you are willing to do what it takes to keep the water clean.

Repairs tank is

Too many is when your filters can't handle the bio-load. I like a overcrowded tank myself. I have the filter system to handle them all.
