what is Convict spawning behavior

Just got a breeding pair of convicts, and wanted to know what type of behavior they exhibit during spawning.

they wiil stick together and beat the daylights out of everything that comes near them. if those are the ones i just gave you give em some time. they just spawned 2 weeks ago.

They'll stick together, and you'll probably notice they start digging pits in the substrate. The female will also colour up very brightly, and males usually get a bit of colour (blue/greens) to their fins. Then, before you know it, you'll see a little batch of eggs that they guard intensely.

You migh also notice a "tube" coming out of the female, looks like a pencil point right in front of the anal fin.

Mine are getting ready to spawn any day now...so the Managuense will be happy
