What is everyone's night lighting setup?

Hey all!

Getting my 125 up and runnin... loving it.

ALL of the fish in my tank are active at night... currently my setup in an LED FLASHLIGHT on top of the tank shining down! Nice effect, but hardly practical.

What do people run here? LED light? Built into fixtures or separate?

Pics would be great!
 
I have 7 LED night lights wired into my DIY hood on a timer. You can see them across the top of the hood in this picture.

I cant wait to see some more pics I think I am going to have to build a new canopy for my 75 and would love to do moon lights in it because my fish are active at night. please keep the pics coming

IVe always heard that fish need it dark at night? and that the extra light can cause algae growth, does LED help that problem?

I dont have any night light at all

90% of what you hear is WRONG! :D

It's not exactly dark at night in a fish's natural habitat... There's the moon and other ambient light. Fish also can't see a lot of colors, which is why a lot of lunar light setups are blue... you can see them, but to them it's dark.

Anyone else? I really appreciate everyone who has posted, but I feel like this is a bit of a pathetic response from the MFK setup board! I know some more of you out there have a night lighting setup.
