what is going on ???

ok i have been buying marinenland and corallife products for the last 10 years of more but im starting to get really mad i have bought 5 heaters in the last 6 months and not one of them has lasted more the 2 weeks with out burning out. and the same thing with corallife lights so far i have burned out 2 t5 18" lights in 2 weeks the second light dident even last 2 days as well as picked up a 48" t5 and had to cut 1/4 inch off the housing because it was to long and the bulbs were not even touching the tumb stones. i just dont get it what the hell are thay doing did thay just decide that thay should build everything like crap? anyone else have this happen to them?

lol it figer right after i posted this i checked anther ml heater and it is burned out as well i will never buy for them again

You might want to have your electrical system checked. Sounds like you might be having power surges or electrical wiring issues. You shouldn't have that many problems in such a short time span.

i kinda thought that to but i bought an ehime and it is working great keeps my 125 at 77-78 with no worries. the only thing i can think is that thay changed there element design to what looks like a coil pad and it cant take running for extended periods of time like the older ones and that thay are burning out. but im also seeing that my lfs is stopping stocking them so i have a feeling that im not the only one that is kinda y i posted this was wondering if anyone else is have the same results

im not familiar with heaters other than eheim jagers, but have you checked to see if you're consistently setting them up correctly? Water line, settings, etc? perhaps maybe it is a bad line of products.. if so, im sure you can find feedback from googling the product

that i did not know i got one today took in the burned out one and thay gave me credit on a new one. on looking at it it looks like thay changed the heating unit in them and it seams to be working so far knock on wood. i dont think my rtc x tsn can handle anther drop into the low 60's again thay are still babys
