When I turn on the lights to my 180 there are these little worms squiggling around what are they and are they harmful to my fish? How can I get rid of them?

They might be Planaria, or if you feed live foods, some are leftover and enjoying your substrate (Tubefix, Bloodworms? Do you feed anything like this?)

Also, worms can also be an indicator of poor upkeep. You need to vac the gravel to get rid of excess bioaccumulation, which provides the worms with plenty to eat and thrive upon.

So, do a good gravel vac regularly and the problem will be taken care of.

I found out what they were I fed them too much last night. They didn't eat for a week or so. They are harmless and plus I don't have gravel.

What were they? Glad it wasn't something serious.
