So after semi gloating earlier in the day about having juvies tems growing good with 0 issues and then bammm I do a 50% water change and about an hour later I see my one of my newest matto grosso azule struggling to breath and is literally fighting to swim from going belly up next one by one I see my tems dropping down to the floor on their bellys just laying there...luckily I see it starting to unfold and I rush into e.r. mode grabbed a spare bucket filled it with water and threw in some water conditioner and pull them from the tank I also had put in my spare bubbler and starter giving each fish mouth to bubbler end forcing air over their gills so far about 30 mins has gone by I haven't lost any.....yet......keep ur fingures crossed that I do t lose any of my babies. I don't get it I didn't do anything different than what I normally do... but I'm almost positive it was an ammonia spike but so far they have regained their strength and are starting to swim and act normally I'm so glade I was able to hopefully catch this in time
