what is in your Emperor 400?

So i bought one of these when i first got my tank and the filters are not cheap but dose have a lot of flow. i am Just wondering what any one else uses in the filter for martial or bio filtration ?

I cut a Matala sheet to size for bio and for inserts I use Kens non carbon brand from:

I put Seachem Matrix in the plastic inserts that come with the Emperor, and I cut quilt batting to size and put it in front of the insert.

i used cutdown ac500 sponges in them. all i ever ran. Even my canisters have ac500 and ac200 and 300 sponges in them.
