i have checked the stickys but non of them have good pics of the tail fin. it was called a South American Marble Gar it had maby 3 spots down middle of it and had a pinkish tail

because it wasn't a true gar but a marbled gar-(Boulengerella maculata)still looking but its not a true gar they are characins
oh thank you that is probibly why i couldent find it and what does it eat and will i be able to get it off of live fish.
