My Indo is not black anymore, the color stays yellowish red, but the bar is fading (not solid black)

why's that? still stress???

I have seen it at my lfs's large NTT, color stays yellow but the bar just faded away...

What is it suppose to mean? unhappy???

I don't think mood of tiger is connected to stability of tigers, especially indo.

Some of my tigers are stable when being chased or when fighting and feeding. Some are only stable for a few days after water change. I have 3 that r stable
no matter what I do.
The list can go on, ie tank mates, tank size, lighting etc.

I have two 5-6" Indos that really light up when I toss feeders into the tank. Rest of the time they are sort of a medium brown with faded stripes. My personal view, is that many Dat owners get too wrapped up in this "stability" thing. The most important consideration is that they're healthy. Usually, when they mature they will adopt the consistent coloration that most of us prefer.

My largest Indo does the same thing when it's totally relaxed. Only time the Bars really blacken up is when it's agitated believe it or not.
