so im looking for people who have had or do have african tigerfish, and black piranhas, and elong piranhas. i personally have had black ps in the past and they are super territoral once they get about 6' or more but a little skittish. ive never had tigerfish or elongs are the a one fish per tank fish like the blacks or can they e kept with anything are thwy skittish and are the very active and at what gsize do they become territorial?

Atfs are not too aggressive to anything that they can not swallow. I did have a few instances where he would make a run at a flashy fish but he never did any real damage. I had my VATF from 2-3" until about 15" he was always pretty skittish but he did well with all the tank mates I tried. In the end I got rid of him because I got tired of him smashing into the side of the tank when someone walked by because the tank was in a high traffic area of the house.
