i found an excellent exotic fish supplier, the guy is nice, real, & cool as hell-but he says he cant work with me unless i have a license to sell exotic fish (he said its bs hippie bureaucrat bs but that he makes enough money now to just go with it)-what is needed to get this license?

i dont really think there is any unless u own a store and i dont know if u even have to then....... i know theres import export license but idk how to get them yet.......

thats sad that not a single person seems to know anywhere i go. very sad.

I've never even heard anything of this.

Perhaps you should ask him how to obtain a license, since he apparently already has one.

i mainly want to collect since i stand to save a LOT of money-but i also want to be able to help out people in the community since the fish stores around here want $30-$100 for everything & thats a rape but we have no other alternatives around here-while this guy will sell me most of these $30-$100 fish for $10-$15.

this guy does not have one-he says the fish/pet stores get PO'd if he sells someone a fish sicne he doesnt have the license for it, hes just the guy that gets them in the country.

im in ohio if that makes 1 iota of difference to anyone.

Where the Hell are you in ohio?! and what store are you talking about. Unless you are wanting to get fish from out of country there is nothing special you need. If you want to get something out of country shipped in you'll need to get a import permit. But if you fill out the right paper work and it's just for your self and you're not going to sell the fish You don't even really need that. It's just some B.S. paperwork, some cash and they have to be shipped to a customs Air Port point of entry. Where they could set for up to two days if you don't setup a time for them to be checked.
