He is eating fine but last night and for about 4 days he was flipping up side down and rubbing against the sand substrate. Today he seems okay but not moving like normal. I treated with salt and turned the heat up a bit in the tank. Water change was done yesterday as well. He is in a 300 gallon tank. Water is good. What could cause this. See Pics.

He's got ich. Don't use meds on him. Instead warm the water to 85f. And do daily water changes. A small amount of salt will also help. Separate him if possible.

Okay thanks. I'm trying to get the temp up. How much salt and how much water change I should do?

For salt I recommend 1/2 of whatever is prescribed on the container it comes in. And I personally would do 25-35% daily until it clears up. Are you gonna separate him from your main tank? If not id make sure the salt won't bother the other residence

I can't seperate him due to his size. He wouldn't fit in my 75. Plus the other tank mates in the 75. So ill treat the 300 gallon.

what type of pond treatment?
