Finally (after about 3 months) finished my ray growout tank. Was a bit more work then I thought it was going to be to get this 300 gallon to flow almost 5K GPH.
What a better way to top off a project like this then to add some topwater "bling"? Had these guys in my pond for a while and they just loved it in there..... BUT after picking one up off the floor the other day and reviving him with a 20 min stint in front of a big powerhead I've decided the pond isn't for them just yet. I got him breathing again and after he twitched I had to leave for work. I left him backfloating but breathing. Thought he'd be dead when I got home. So after worrying all day and getting home to see him alive I figured until I get some better lids on the pond these guys can kick it in my new growout.
So here they are.... My Odoe shoal. Hope you enjoy..........
For size refrence the ray in the 3rd pic is 13 inches across.
