What is so special about Gold Severums?

Why are Gold Severums so expensive? For example whenever I go to local fish stores a Gold Severum at about 1.5” goes for about $20 and some 6” go for around a $100. Usually all other cichlids are around two bucks for 1.5” and no more than $50 for a 6” one.

So what is so special about them?
 
that's weird. At the Petco I'm at, we're overloaded with them and they sell pretty cheaply. :)
 
Thats crazy....Are all of the severums that expensive or just the golds...the one I bought of of repair cost me a whopping dollar!

I know and it took me about about a month to save up for it too!

I dont know if he ships, but im pretty sure Repair has that many
watermark.php

So do they sell vaseline with those fish?
