Somone posted these pictures from another forum and I am indeed curious what exactly it is...

It's like a whitish, jelly like stuff floating around in the tank... Some say poo, some say bacteria...

Anyone can advise? :WHOA:

Looks like skin.. Maybe a decomposed feeder?

Not sure too... every guess a thing or two about it... seems like those who kept rays also have the same stuff... it's definitely form the ray and not another species cos there is nothing but ray in the tank...

Do you think it came OFF of them or OUT of them...

With your permission I will email these pics to a friend who has been keeping rays for decades.

I think they probably came OUT of them... I also took these pictures form another site... in fact without permission... but my point is to know what is that secrete... no intention of using the pistures for any other purpose which benefit me directly... so I guess you can use it too... let's find out what really is the whitish stuff... thanks. will wait for your reply.

kinda looks like poo to me

You sitting down?

If you have drift wood in your tank it COULD be the wood spooge crap you see from time to time .. If you DONT have wood, he thinks it could be the beginning of an internal parasite infection, which he recommends treating with Metramightazol (sp). He said soak their food in it before feeding... Hope this helps

****!!!! That's exactly what I said to the others... I thought it's internal illness too... but no one believe me... good to hear form the expert bro... Thank a mil.

I always thought white poo was parasites but somebody else had mentioned its just from the shrimp....
