What is that?

I saw these two things in my fw tank. What are they?

Looks like a hole in a log?
Just kidding but I think it will be difficult for anyone to be able to make out what those things are due to the photo quality.

The first picture looks like an albino elephant seal swimming upward and peakin its head from the cave.
