I have been using Penn-Plax Pro Balance Red Parrot food diet and my fish love it especially my Flowerhorn. What do you guys think is the best color enhancer besides brine shrimp? This stuff(pro balance) has seemed to really bring out my Green Terror's color and has made my parrot turn to a darker orange. It is supposed to stimulate the red pigment in the parrot but seems to work on other fish. Is there anything that is considered a really great color enhancing food or supplement?

Also, does this stuff work at all? http://www.bigalsonline.com/catalog/product.xml?product_id=31248&category_id=3781&pcid1=2911

Thanks

Krill works great and I always use Hikari products for my guys. I also use some pellets that I brougth back from Thailand.

tetra bits works best for me.. the iodine content is high and iodine is the element compound in our blood. its color enhancing especially red.

hikari cichlid gold is the ones i've feed my jd for most of his life and his color is stunning

:iagree: I feed all my fish even my TSN hikari pellet's , but I go alittle beyond and mix the cichid gold & staple(medium mix & large mix) togther and they slam thouse pellet's. krull also is a good color enhancer. in my experiance I've found that a little bit of live food(self raised or wild cought or frozen) and a quality pellet or flake food & over all enviorment will bring out the best in any fish..

I like Hikari Cichlid gold for pellet food, krill is also very good. My silver Aro has some nice Blue an orange coloration after acouple Months of Eating Krill.

hikari gold worked wonders on my RTGG's, could barely see the red a month ago. i also feed them frozen krill every other day.
