What is the best FW water testing kit?

I use the API FW Kit, and since I have planted tanks and use compressed CO2, I started using the Hagen GH/KH Test. While picking this up, the LFS attendant mentioned that the API test has been reputed to be innacurate. Anyone heard this, or have any other tests they use?

subscribed!! i use api's fw kit as well, i havent heard of any of those accusations, could of been a sales pitch as from what ive been seeing the api seems to be cheaper then hagen, then again it could be you get what you pay for.

I am obviously biased, but I can honestly say I haven't heard those accusations either.

Years ago I was told that the Lamotte test kits were the best but I have always gotten good enough results with AP.

I'm currently using API products and they've been very accurate for me and my planted FW tank
