What is the BEST schooling fish

I was thinking black skirt tetra, anyone kept these before and know if they school / what numbers to keep them in??
 
What about glass cats, I had 6 and they always schooled and had the coolest look of any schooling fish I have ever seen.

You can't beat a see through fish in my books!

Forgot about these, saw them at my LFS in a group of 6 and they were schooling really well and they do look awesome :thumbsup:

Just looked these fish up and they aresound and look great. It says they are slightly aggressive thou. What are yours like with tankmates?

I have them with black neons, rummynose tetras, silvertip tetras,clown loaches, yoyo loaches, black ghost knife, and pitbull plecos. I have never seen any aggression at all. I can't imagine anybody describing them as aggressive.
 
Pretty much anything in the Tetra line. My brother has about 8 Rose lines however they can be a bit pricey.
 
get fish that were made to school ,the mighty tin foil ,at least you can see what you are watching ,but again your 150 wont cut it huh
