what is the best way to get a tiger shovelnose catfish to eat pellets

I have a 4 inch tiger shovelnose catfish and I want him to start eating sinking pellets but I would like to know what the best way to get him to start eating them

I would assume you should do the same thing with this fish as you would with most fish. Don't give it food for a couple days. Then, give it some pellets. If that doesn't work, you'll have to resort to different tactics.
