I will need to move my 5" african brown knife to his new tank in the near future.
After moving the first fish in to the larger tank (a pair of 3-4" gourami) I realized this will be harder than i thought.
What is the least stressful way to move a knife to his new home ?

lower the water level so you dont have to chase it everywehre

i would just use a net honestly, they aren't that sensitive
He asked for the least stressful way, and catching the fish in a bag of water is the least stressful.

The least stressful way would be to use a bag. But honestly, african knives aren't really all to sensitive. The easiest way would be to just drain some of the water then use the 2 net method. That's what I do for all my fish that will fit in a net.

got it lower water level and coral into either a large net or a sturdy plastic bag

actually she is just looking to avoid stressing him out by chasing him around the tank for 20 minuets before moving him

thanks for the help:)
