I have recently installed a 210g tank. I have put in two australian barramundi one "barramundi" and one arowana leichardti or saratoga. I most recentaly have kept marine, and some huge americans chiclids before that. I have shaken the marine due to cost and its just boring! give me a monster that will come and look at you and in some way interact with you.
so i have put the two fish in the tank have the water perfect threw in 40 feeders that they have picked off at night over the last week. now i am starting on pellets, i drop them in and have had not one pick one up. I know pellets are not as exiteing as feeders, but also i know the breeders will not feed the fry feeders as its another expence.
so does any one have any tips on feeding or maybe you have a way you like to feed like time, amounts, non feeding times, staving a fish to change a feed source or any thing like this, I am keen to read your thoughts
attached is a pic of a barra i caught in a stocked dam in Queensland Australia it was 117cm long and gave me a bit of a fight.
