Im curious, what is the best way to transfer fish into a bigger tank... does it need to cycle again? even if I plan on using EVERYTHING from the old tank (gravel/filter/decor etc...)

hm

If you put everything out of the old tank into the new tank. Including the bio media your tank may not need to be fully cycled. However I would keep a close eye on it , it may do a mini cycle . Small frequent water changes would be essential also so nothing wonky happens . Good luck

I bought my Oscar when it was about a 2 incher. I put him in a 55 gallon tank that only cycled for 2 days with the same decor same gravel and fresh arrowhead drinking water. Was a dumb thing to do for a rookie but he was eating the same day. Crazy right? But don't get any ideas bro. Do it right. Gl
