there are 2 big pictus at my lfs, one is about 10" and the other about 12", i'll go friday and take some pictures if they are still there. biggest pictus i have ever seen!!

Those are definetly not Pimelodus Pictus

The biggest I have seen was about 5 1/2"

I've had mine for a few years and he's 5". I think he's maxed out. My pim. blochii on the other hand is 9-10", so thats what buddy probably mistook for a large pictus.

Yeah def not a Pimelodus Pictus, no way they would be that big.

I have two around the 5-6 inch mark and on a lil smaller probably 3-4 inch. My camera took a crap so no pictures. Thinking of borrowing my moms next time i go to her house and see how well hers takes pics and maybe buy me the same camera.

for reall are there pictus that max out at 8ish mark i like them i got two in my os tank lol long story they never get bothered
