what is the "dabola" bichir?

it just like koliba whitout "brightness horizontal line", and its body like too.
so i guess this is a p.l lap "variation",isn't?

the specimen i have has a very different head compared to the 'Koliba'. the color and markings are quite different too.

'Koliba' and lapradei have similar body shape, but the 'Dabola' is not as similar.

so is 'Dabola' a lapradei variant? may be, may be not, i don't know for sure.

In China if the picture isn't used by a business its ok to to share with a different website as long as proper credit is given-Anne

that's what I thought, but I couldn't figure out what the point of stating that would be, so I figured he had to be saying something else.

ok let me see if i could help. Remember though this is just my guess

1) chnagain posted some of africanman's pics of 'Dabola', credited africanman, and asked a question.

2) pwmin was answering chnagain's question by posting the link, since africanman has provided a little bit of info there.

3) since the pics chnagain posted have the watermark of another forum, chnagain misunderstood pwmin's post, and thought pwmin was saying he shouldn't have used the pics.

4) so chnagain said what he said about its ok to use the pics with proper credit etc.

am i right? i don't know :D
