What is the difference with high back arowana's?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The difference is how high the shine level is on the scales. I believe a HBRTG would have a shine level up to the 6th row of scales on the back hence "High Back"

Thank you for your input. I've just been reading up on the internet as I finally found a good source of information and it states that RTG's are crossbred with Malaysian Crossbacks and have atleast the fifth level shine and sometimes sixth if you're lucky. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Many thanks.

Highback are the product of RTG x Malaysian Gold (crossback) ;) Classic RTG won't have sixth level shine.

they both are the same but RTG has 4th shine and HBRTG(XBxRTG) has 5th shine if lucky and has good XB genes then 6th but mostly 5th

shine is only for the golds
