Well for most of you that use common names more often (I notice a lot of people here only use scientific names)

For me:

Leporinus fasciatus - Black-banded Leporinus

Astronotus ocellatus - Oscar

If these were to change, my scientific dictionary would be depleted.

for me its polypterus delhezi and geophagus jurupari...

Pimelodus pictus - pictus catfish lol

trichgohaster (sp) Trichopterus - three spot gourami

barbus everetti - clown barb

corydora aneus - cory cat

polypterus senegalus - senegal bichir

Thorichtys Meeki - Firemouth

and Microgeophagus ramirezi - german blue ram

lol basically every fish I have XD

Pimelodus pictus

Astronotus ocellatus
Betta splendens
Carassius Auratus
Hoplosternum Littorale
Paratilapia Polleni
Orinocodoras eigenmanni
Platydoras armatulus
Liosomadoras morrowi...
This could go on for awhile
So, yeah, most of the fish I've owned or own now.

all cichla

Ambystoma mexicanum - Axolotl
Ambystoma macrdactylum - Western Long-toed Sal
Ambystoma tigrinum - Tiger Sal
Dicamptodon tenebrosus - Pacific Giant Sal
Hemidactylus turcicus turcicus - Mediterranean house Gecko (First one I ever memorized)

Pretty much all of the Geo's and a bunch of other one's that most people use.
