What is the going price for a 10 inch regular looking Pleco?

At my LFS, they'd be around $20. However, I think you'd be lucky to get a third of that... If the store will take him. Best of luck!

Most stores would sell them anywhere from 15-20 bucks.

Mostly free, sometime you have to beg someone to take it.

You might be able to get $5 or so, if you're lucky. Better off marketing it on craigslist as a great pond cleaner for $15, just warn that the water temp must be above 65-70.

Yep, large common plecos are not in high demand and their value is limited. I have one that I wish I could get rid of.
