I went to my local LFS,to buy a second "Bellycrawler"pike,to go with my 1st(wich by the way was suppose to be a Strigatti"well this pike was bought as a "Bellycrawler",i got him at 5 inches,and in a month and a half he has grown to about 8 and a half inches,he grew at least 3 inches since then,and when i put feeders in the tank(about 20) he eats most of them.Also he is the only fish in my tank that stands up to my 9 inch Jag,i mean he kicks the Jags ass every time the Jag messes with him.He has a nice blue hue on top of his fins(the one on top of his back)with red specks through out his body.He has huge lips,with 1 black spot in the middle of his body.I promise i will take pics soon!!This guy is all attitude and has since become my favorite fish!!!Does this Pike sound familiar??Please let me know!!Thanks!!!
. Great times eh? And yes you need to get pictures! But i am confused by your post, you start it asking about growth rate and then just totally go off on a whim about other things.
