I"M just wondering what is the guide lines for calling a fish a monster. I've read some where about fish that eat other fish can be called a monster.

but is there a basic feeling about what is and what isn't?

like i never conisered a angel fish a monster. but it has a forum. I never considered a bala shark a monster. probly cause i never seen them grow more than 2 inches.

anything that gets big is monster, anything with a bad attitude can be a monster, anything with teeth can be a monster. or anything that can be kept in a monster tank, can be monster. jus depends how you look at it. and jus so you know, bala sharks get huge haha, they can be hella monster.

id say anything over a foot long and is highly aggressive

What ever you want to be one. There is no "rules" on what is considered a monster.

The passion for the hobby is the most important monster.

Bingo.

Also will say. Anything that can overtake crowds of people and make them want one is Monster IMO.

i'd say if it's predatory, large, or aggressive (or any combination of said traits), it's a monster.

Anything that Awes visitors, wether its a monster tank, monster fish or 55 filled with guppies. If someones jaw drops its a monster.

If kids cry and run away when they see your fish they are definitly monsters.
