Is it a Xingu?? I have one with segmented lines on his head,my LFS had it listed as a Crenicichla Lepidotis but i Google imaged Lepidotis and they weren't Orange Pike!! PP,do your stuff!!
Yeah i know, thats why i have him!!!!!! He's with a Astronotus Ocellatus, and we all know their temperment!!!! In a 90 Gallon to boot!!!! But theryre all juvi's so hopfully that helps.
I had a Largemouth in my 90 gallon for like a good 5 months,he was growin' good, but then one day i went to my LFS for food and the rest is history.I hope this is the begining of a real long addiction, looks like it anyway.Crenicichla RULE!!!!
Yup, Crenicichla sp. 'xingu I'..... BTW...Oscars are really mild in temperment when compared to adult xingu I.... My pair would LITERALLY drag my adult Oscar around the tank by its tail. They are aggressive, never underestimate them. Oh, they were in a 125gal as well.....
